Limerance Skincare Review & Giveaway

**I have updated the 1st link (linked to 'Limerance'), the 1st picture (group pic), and the last link (linked to 'click here'), so that it goes straight through our affiliate link which will give us a 20% commission if you decide to purchase anything, which we will use to fund our blog.

Hi! We're back and yes, we have another sponsored review & giveaway. Like we said before, we do have a few of them lined up, so please look out for that. We didn't get any comments for what we should review in our next non-sponsored review, so I suppose we'll figure that out later.
Anyway, this review & giveaway is sponsored by Limerance. I received the products I'm about to mention below for free in exchange for a review. Nevertheless, all of the opinions expressed are 100% mine and completely honest. I was under no obligation to write a positive review and I would never accept anything that required me to. Now, let's start!

First, a little information about all their skincare products. Limerance makes their products to order and they use food grade ingredients wherever possible. They also make their products to be as natural as possible. They use essential oils to scent their products, not synthetic fragrances, as well. You can find more information here.

Now, the review.

I'm going to start with the face cream.

Some info about the face cream's ingredients:
This face cream is made with over 79 minerals, MSM, Astaxanthin, peptides, gold, pressed peach kernels, hyaluronic acid, beech tree extract, and more.

MSM is an ingredient found in many moisturizers and it has many of the cosmetic qualities of sulfur (You can find some more information here), Astaxanthin is an anti-oxidant naturally found in foods and causes the reddish/pink color of salmon, trout, lobster, etc. (You can find some more information here.), peptides are found in many anti-aging skin treatments to treat wrinkles, gold is used to beautify and increase moisture in your skin, pressed peach kernels provide essential fatty acids, hyaluronic acid I've spoken about before in another review here, and beech tree extract is added to reduce wrinkles and moisturize.

Review:
The face cream seems to have a light scent, but I'm not quite sure what it is. It's pretty thick, but it applies easily on my skin and is easy to smooth out. You don't really need to put a lot to cover your entire face. It has a cool feel on my skin and it makes my skin shimmer a little. It also wasn't oily at all.  In terms of anti-aging benefits, I didn't see or feel anything really significant. My pores might have shrunken a little, but overall, it didn't seem to do that much in that area. All in all, it moisturized and softened my skin quite well, but doesn't seem to be effective at anti-aging. Bottom line is, as a moisturizer, I would recommend it, but as an anti-aging cream, I wouldn't.

Next, the body oil.

Ingredients:
It's made with citrus essential oils, MSM, pressed peach kernel oil, and more. The essential oils are added in mainly for fragrance purposes.

Review:
It had a light orange-y smell from the essential oils, but it dissipates after a few seconds. I really liked how it sprays on, so I didn't have to get my fingers too oily. When it sprays on, it gets kind of foamy (see pic), but it's not a big deal.
It was obviously pretty oily at first, but it wasn't as bad as I expected. I just sprayed it on my leg a few times and rubbed it in. It absorbed pretty quickly as well. After a few minutes, my skin didn't feel too greasy to me. It seems pretty similar to the Vaseline Spray n' Go. Although I haven't tried that yet, I have a feeling it's somewhat like this. This body oil can also be used anywhere. Like spray sunscreen, if you want it on your face or somewhere like that, you can just spray it into your hand a couple times and apply using that. Or, you could pour it out, but I would recommend spraying it into your hand so you don't make a huge mess :). The results of this body oil was softer, moisturized skin. My skin wasn't too oily, but there was a light sheen to it. Overall, I would recommend it. It works just as well as any other body lotion I've tried. Just apply it at night, after your shower. Also, be sure to shake it well before spraying because the water and oil will separate at times.

Also, there are a lot of other uses for body oil. To name a few, you can use it to soften your cuticles, make a quick sugar scrub, or help heal & relieve your dog's cracked paws. For some more uses, click here.

Finally, the lip balm.

Ingredients:
It's simply made with beeswax, honey/cherry flavor, and essential oils.

Review:
You probably know by now that I am very picky when it comes to lip balms and other 'moisturizing' lip products. So, let's get started.
It has a very strong fruity scent. The first thing that came to my mind was Fig Newtons, but it's probably black cherries from the essential oil. It's not my favorite scent, but it's okay. It's very easy to apply. It basically just glides on. I appreciate that it doesn't 'melt' too easily and become harder & messier to put on. Also, like I said in my Ageless Derma Lip Gloss Review, I don't like lip products that taste bad, since I have a habit of licking my lips, so I appreciated that it tasted pretty good. The result of this lip balm is that my lips looked and felt moisturized while it was on, but after I took it off, but lips started to dry and flake quite quickly. I really don't like it when my lip balm does this to me. Overall, if you use Chapstick or any other commercial lip balms, you probably won't mind using this lip balm, but if you use homemade lip balms or petroleum jelly like me, you probably might want to look at some other lip balms or stick with what you have.

Altogether, besides the lip balm, I really liked all these products.

Thank you Limerance for allowing me to try all of these products!
