Cassani Fogless Shower Mirror Review

Hi! Welcome to another sponsored review. This time, it's sponsored by the Cassani company. I received this fogless shower mirror for free in exchange for a product review. Nevertheless, my opinions are 100% my own and are completely honest. Your opinions may differ from mine. We're all different after all.

First, a little about the Cassani company (This information comes straight from their website). They are a supplier of home & lifestyle products and in the past, their products have mainly been distributed in Europe and Asia. Their products help you save time, are high-quality, and are designed to help you improve your daily tasks and lifestyle.

Now, my review of the fogless shower mirror. This is a stock photo of what it looks like.

Before I start my review, you might ask, why would you want this product?
That is simply so that you can shave in the shower:

Or basically do things you would do at the sink mirror anyway:

Why would you want to shave in the shower?
1. You can keep your razor clean & warm.
2. No more messy sinks! (This is the benefit I like the most)
3. The steam softens your hair & skin and opens your pores to help eliminate razor burn.
4. It keeps your skin moist for a better shave.
5. I also personally think it saves some time.

So, you can see why you might want to consider one of these.

The actual review:
When I received the package, the box was a bit crushed, but I didn't mind because I was informed of the little problem. (First good thing. Customer service. You have to have good customer service, don't you think?) I immediately took the mirror out and checked it out. My first impression of the mirror was that it seemed kind of flimsy. At first glance, it seemed like some cardboard or something like that with a reflective surface slapped on it. This was definitely not the case. I tried bending it a little and found that it was actually quite sturdy. It wasn't the easily bendable cardboard I thought it might have been at first. Next, I checked out the edges of it. I found that there were a couple rougher edges, but definitely nothing to be worried about.

Included within the box were the assembling instructions and these were really easy to follow. You just need to peel off the waxy paper on the backs of the hooks to reveal the adhesive and then stick it on the wall where you want it. Then, just hold it there for 45 seconds. After that, all you have to do is put the mirror on the hook on the left and your razor on the hook on the right (see below).

Isn't that easy?
But, I'll admit that at first, I made a really stupid mistake. I thought that the razor holder was actually a stand for the mirror, so I kept trying to balance the mirror on there and it just wouldn't stay up. Eventually, I realized that I was actually supposed to put the other hook in the hole of the mirror. It was a really silly mistake and most people probably wouldn't even do that, but I did, so I'm just going to share that just in case anyone else thinks like me :). Learn from my mistakes!

After the hooks were put on, I noticed that one of the hooks on the razor holder was slightly bent towards the wall. I believe it was bent when I was pressing the adhesive to the wall. That was a bit of a downside. The mirror itself is not easily bendable, but the hooks are somewhat easy to bend. Now, the actual performance.

The mirror is really easy to use. All you have to do is hold it in the shower stream for a few seconds on either side and put it back on the hook before using. There was no fog whatsoever, but I did put the mirror in a place with some shower spray which blurred the reflected image. This was easily remedied by pouring some of the shower stream water over the surface of the mirror. Overall, this mirror was easy to assemble, easy to use, and had a great performance... at first... but what about later?

It has been about two or three weeks since I have put up my mirror and I have noticed a couple stains on it that are affecting its performance.

Naturally, I wanted to clean it up right away, so I referred back to the original instructions and it told me that all I had to do was rub some toothpaste on it and rinse it off. So, I did.

And... boom! Good as new!

It works perfectly fine and it's nice and clean.

So, not only is it just easy to assemble and easy to use, but it's also easy to clean!
Therefore, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a fogless shower mirror.
