Oransi Fridge Air Purifier Review & Giveaway!

Hi everyone! Welcome to another review!
First off, this is a review sponsored by Oransi. I received the Oransi Fridge Air Purifier for free in exchange for a blog review. All the opinions expressed in the review are 100% mine and completely honest. I'm under no obligation to write a positive review and I would not accept any job that requires that I do. Now, let's begin.

Let's start with a little background info about Oransi and this air purifier.
About the company:
The Oransi company began with an engineer and his asthmatic son. With the asthma, came the medications, and with the medications, came the feeling of being miserable, angry, and more as side effects. So, he was looking for some solutions that would, at least, minimize the need for drugs. Thus, Oransi was created in 2009.

Now that you've gotten some more information about the brand & the purifier itself, let's get into the actual review, shall we?

The Review:

Before I get really into it, I think I need to talk a little about my fridge and what's in it. My fridge is full of pretty typical foods and some of them are pretty smelly. There are the normal foods (cheese, onions, garlic, etc.), there are the cooked leftovers (curry, fish, etc.), and there are the various other items (eggs, produce, etc.). Point is, there are a lot of different foods in my fridge and all of them put together doesn't exactly make my fridge smell all that fresh. Which is why I was so excited to try this. After all, the point of it is to eliminate odors, kill bacteria, etc. Exactly what I need.

First, the assembly. It was easy to assemble. All you had to do was pop open the little panel at the bottom (It slid open very easily), press the batteries in (batteries are not included), and close it up again.

Second, using it. It was easy to use, as well. You just put it in your fridge...

...press the power button, and leave it alone. The light should turn on.

For the first 30 min of use, the purifier will run continuously and after that, it will run every two hours for five minutes. During those five minutes, the light will blink every two or three seconds.

Finally, the performance. I decided to wait three hours before checking up on it, so that it had enough time to go through the first 30 min, and then one of the two hour cycles. The result? I took a smell test and I was pleasantly surprised. The air smelled fresher, crisper, and almost colder (?) if that's even possible. But, I had raw fish in there from yesterday and the scent wasn't completely gone. There was still a bit of the fishy smell left, but honestly, compared to before I used it, it's still better. Overall, I would say that it's effective for most odors, but perhaps it needs some more time to completely deodorize stronger smells like raw fish. I would still recommend this to people, though, because despite the fact that the fish's odor wasn't completely neutralized, it still improved the overall quality & smell of the air in my fridge.
