Gorton's Fish Sandwich Fillets Review & Giveaway

Hi everyone! I'm finally back with another review. Sorry for not writing another one earlier. There'll be a couple more later this weekend, too, so yay! Anyway, this review is in fact sponsored, and I received multiple free product coupons from Gorton's to buy products to try out and review. In this review, I'll only write about one product though. As always, my opinions are 100% honest and my own. I was under no obligation to write a positive review and I would never accept anything that requires that I do. Now, let's get started!
So, I'm going to be reviewing their Fish Sandwich Fillets today.

First off, the rip top. It was pretty annoying and didn't rip cleanly and easily. This is pretty common with these types of rip tops though, so it wasn't that big of a deal. The fillets themselves had an average amount of ice crystals, so I did expect them to be a bit mushy and not that crispy.
Since I was cooking only two fillets, I used my toaster oven rather than an actual oven to bake them. They were each about the size of my palm, so it seemed like a waste to use a huge oven just for two little patties.
After that, I followed the instructions on the back of the package and waited for them to finish. Overall, they were easy to cook and the directions were pretty basic. When they were done, they came out like this:
*I did not eat them with bread, so my opinion on the taste is solely on the fillet.*
As for the taste, it had a pretty thick coat of breading, but it was crispy and not as mushy as I expected. It was pretty oily, though. In my opinion, the edges tasted better. They were crispier and the fish was easier to detect. The middle tasted more like breading and was a bit more mushy. Also, they weren't too salty. Overall, the taste is okay, but I feel that if you made something like this yourself, it'll probably still be easy and be cheaper. Not to mention, healthier for you and your family. So, unless it is an absolute last resort, I personally would not recommend it.

Okay, so I hope you enjoyed the review and I hope that it was helpful to you! Thank you for reading!
